We are a small team of local Canadian craft chocolatiers who love everything chocolate. Using organic single-origin ingredients we've managed to make something of a cult-classic hot cocoa mix.

We also know what a crisp, snowy winter means for families: a warm cup of broth, mulled wine or hot chocolate. We can't help you with the broth or the wine, but we think we've got you covered with this velvety, thick and slightly sweet hot cocoa.

Servings:

Cups per serving: serves 6-10 depending on how strong you like your cocoa. Bring your own marshmallows for an extra treat.

Hot (not boiling) water: cocoa doesn't need boiling water, use gently warmed milk or water for taste and safety; warm hot chocolate is safe for kids. Safely check the warmth on the inside of your wrist before serving.

Yes to all of the above. Use water not milk. There is sugar in this mix, so we don't call this keto-friendly. Portion carefully if you are sensitive to sugar.

Well we think so, and all of our customer reviews would agree. Quality is up to you. What we can tell you is we've been deliberate in making a product free of any additives. We use only two ingredients, both organic and from our fair-trade partner suppliers. Preparing the cocoa from its original cacao bean form happens in our east-side Toronto chocolate workshop. Come see for yourself how it's made, we open our chocolate shop every evening for classes, groups and events.

Yes, it's safely packed in a tin to extend its shelf life (and to look gorgeous while it waits for you). Kept dry and free from moisture this mix will last you 2-3 years in your pantry—but chances are it'll be long gone by then...
