If I was rating on the chocolate alone, this would be a 100/5 rating… the only issue we found was the packaging. Although it is beautiful, the plastic insert that holds the chocolates is a bit too deep/tall…? What is mean is we found it difficult to pop the chocolates out. I bought these for my sons, who are 21 and 18 - years, not months - and it wound up feeling like they were 21 and 18 months again… I had to help them get their advent chocolate out of its packaging. We’ve figured out to use a knife to pop them out, but, again, due to their age that’s fine, but if you’ve got kids under 10-11 they will probably be the ones wanting to pop the chocolate out. This was our only issue with these advent calendars. Again the chocolate (we got one of each) is drool worthy, no surprise given the quality of everything from Soul Chocolate. The picture and look is classic and gorgeous. Just a little finicky to pop out - especially if it’s for little ones (unless for some reason ours were both duds..?).
